To honor the best contributions to the 17th I4CS 2017 three awards are issued:
the Best Paper Award, the Best Presentation Award and the Young Scientist Award.
Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award is issued on base of the paper reviews by the I4CS Technical Program Committee. Both, the overall rating and the confidence of evaluators are taken into consideration. Nominated papers have been reviewed by four independent reviewers. The evaluation scale reaches from +3 (strong accept) to -3 (strong reject). The following criteria are taken into consideration:
- Accordance to the state of the art
- degree of novelty and innovation
- In the focus of the conference
- Fitting the style instructions
- Level of language and presentation
Best Presentation Award
To strengthen the community aspect, the Best Presentation Award will be issued based on an evaluation by the conference participants.
You will find a copy of your presentation evaluation sheet in your conference package. Please complete the evaluation and return it to the registration desk after the last presentation. One of the returned evaluations will be picked at random and gets a goodie. The following criteria are taken into consideration:
- Content of the presentation
- Style of the oral presentation
- Quality of the presented slide set
Young Scientist Award
First introduced in 2015, the Young Scientist Award is issued in honor to recognize the best contribution considering both, paper and presentation to the conference by young academics. The candidate is selected by the Steering Committee of the I4CS and available TPC members.
